What is MIG welding?

MIG welding stands for 'Metal Inert Gas' Welding. The welding process involves an electrical arc being formed between a wire electrode and the piece or pieces of metal which are being welded together. This process heats the metal which causes the pieces to melt and then join together.

At MRK Services our Engineers are experts in this type of welding as well as TIG welding. Find out more about our MIG welding services here.
